Grilled Cheese and Ham Sushi Roll
Servings: 6 servings
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 6 slices of white bread
- 6 slices of cheddar cheese
- 6 slices of cooked ham
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp black sesame seeds
Mix mayo & sriracha sauce together and set aside.
Trim bread crust and use a rolling pin and flatten out the bread.
Lay cheddar cheese and ham on surface of bread then roll up the bread.
Melt butter in a microwave in 15 second intervals.
Brush melted butter onto rolls and set aside.
Mix white and black sesame seeds on a plate and roll the ham and cheese rolls, covering it thoroughly with sesame seeds.
Heat cooking pan on medium heat and add a little butter once pan is hot.
Cook rolls in hot pan and transfer to cutting board from pan once they are golden brown.
Slice rolls into 1 - 1 ½ inch rolls.
Dress rolls with spicy mayo and sriracha sauce and enjoy.
